ingredients 1 1/2 cup of napa, 1/2 cup of carrots, 1 cup of onions, 1 cup of celery, 1/2 of cup snow peas, 1/2 cup 0f bamboo shoots, 1 cup of crispy noodle, 1 tsp of garlic, 1 tsp of shallot, 1tsp of sherry cooking wine, 3/4 tsp of salt, pinch of black pepper, 1/3 tsp of seasame oil, 3/4 cup of water, 2 tsp of corn starch mixed with 2 ozs of cold water. I’m always trying to eat more veggies but most of the time they’re really an afterthought. There are only so many times you can steam or sauté vegetables before they get boring. Today’s recipe is a carrot salad which can be enjoyed year-round because carrots are always available in the market. This dish has a great burst of flavor that comes from sweet-tart dried plums and Moroccan spices, and the salad will add some nice, vibrant colors to your meal. Remember to check on the carrots frequently while cooking. Test with the tip of a paring knife. As soon as the knife goes into the carrot easily, the carrots are done. Bodybuilding Meals: Chicken and Spinach
In this meal I combine a chopped up chicken breast with onions, garlic, parsley, Adobe mix, a hint of basil, chopped up mixed sweet peppers, almonds with spinach on the side, and some grapes. To drink I mixed some OJ, water, Advocare Mandarin Orange Spark, and probiotic. It was freakin’ AWESOME! Yummeh.
I package all these meals into little tupperware containers. 6 of them a day. I love cooking and its a great way for me to get back into my healthy lifestyle. For too long I have been eating junk!
