Ty for the heads up on peanut prices.I will start looking into it today. Love all your videos, recipes, and words of wisdom. I think being a grandmother has changed me more into a “seize the day” type person. Many yrs ago, being a young wife & mother, I was so caught up in the “busy-ness” of life, that I took for granted alot of those cherished moments I should’ve paused to enjoy longer. Now each day means something. I listen more to my little grandson, really appreciate a nice day, etc.
2. To cope with a crazy family I developed a personal mission statement for my life (that was around age 12). It’s one sentence. “Decrease as much as possible all the pain that the world is so eager to dump on me”. That doesn’t include chasing love or having kids. It does include securing financial security, a career that doesn’t make me suffer (actually I’m very lucky to have found one I enjoy), and security. Anything more is a bonus.
Noreen, I watch your videos all the time, I think you are the greatest cook, I have a request. I noticed that you use cast iron pans at times. I scored a cast iron dutch oven, and 10 inch, 8 inch. and 6 inch skillets (no rust) for $7.00 at a yard sale (the dutch oven had never been used) so, back to the request…could you do a video on how to clean and care cast iron pots and pans. Thanks again Noreen.

I just wanted to say thank you for your time and effort in your weekly chat videos as well as your cooking videos. Also, your message today was just what I needed to hear and we all appreciate you so much!!! Take care!! You do make a difference in some of our lives with your videos.
That was a lovely video (I said with a lump in my throat), thank you
Such a wonderful video Noreen. Blessings to you and your family.
Loved it
@vention4wh Thank you for the comment. While I respect your lifestyle choice, I don’t agree with some of it. But we are all walking a different path to the same end. Your path is yours to follow, and you have to do the best job you can to accomplish that goal. I agree with you about using Youtube as a way to help people, but I can also attest that it has brought a lot of joy to my life. I have made friends here that I never would have found elsewhere. Love and Joy are important.
Thank you!
3. I also want to decrease the pain and suffering of other people if I can. That’s why I made my you tube channel. If I can help people make their lives less prone to suffering, that’s something that’s very much worth doing. In fact, although I don’t seek joy, helping people does seem to make me sort of happy. As long as I feel that way, I’ll keep doing it.
By the way I like your prepper pantry videos the most of all. Being able to whip up a meal from storage can decrease a lot of suffering.
Hi ! Do you happen to know how to make bacon , potatoes , cheese soup ?
If you can , can you show us ?
I live on So Cal…we do not go to Disneyland during the spring and summer, too busy.
what that article isn’t telling you is that not just peanut butter is going to go up, but also any item that is made with peanuts in general, anything made with peanut oil will prolly go up as well.
Ty Noreen for this vid and it’s msg. I enjoy all the vids you’ve done. The only thing I have trouble with is, lately you’ve starting talking at the beginning and end while the music is still playing. For someone with hearing issues like me, multiple types of sounds at one time is very hard to hear.
Beautiful and realistic.
I think you’re describing color to a blind man here. In my experience, love is an illusion, or a lie. I don’t wear myself out chasing it and I certainly wouldn’t want to have kids (although I have no problem with other people doing it). No way in the world would I ever marry. I’ve seen too many men destroyed financially and emotionally after their wives (and it’s usually the wife) throws them out.
I’m just grateful to have peace, a certain degree of freedom, zero debt and tons of money.
I love these chats, ma’am. I listen to them when I am cleaning my kitchen/baking in the morning. Very comforting. : )
@atticus9799
Well said. I can’t deny that I’m happy. It’s taken a long time to get where I want to be and while I’m not doing court-wheels of happiness I’m generally content and usually have a smile ready for the people I know. I smile when I watch your videos too.
@vention4wh Even when don’t seek joy you still experience it. You said that you enjoy your work. That is a type of joy. Joy does not have to be hearts, flowers and extroverted displays of happiness. It can be inner calm and peace with one’s self. That is hard for some people to find. Whether you seek love or not, you are loved, it is your choice to recognize and acknowledge it. Having more than what you need to survive is a great feeling. It is good to share with others. Thanks! Noreen
Peanut butter has already gone up here, I went last week after hearing this on my news, but noticed today, the same is up $2 a container, go get it now.
Hi Noreen do you have a video for any kind of bread?? I love your recipes
