Spaghetti with broccoli – Spaghetti con friarielli – di Anna Muscetti
In this recipe I use a type of broccoli, especially used in south Italy; they are called “friarielli”. The taste is a little bitter and for this reason, they are ok with spaghetti or other type of pasta. But you can use the broccoli you have in your area. Ingredients for 4/5 persons: 500g spaghetti 800g broccoli salt extra vergin oliva oil garlic chili pepper clean and wash the vegetables (you can also find them ready); cook vegetables in salt water for 5 minutes; preserve their water, because we will use it to cook spaghetti. In a pan: oil, chili and garlic with slow flame; then, put the vegetables in the pan (without water), add salt, cook for 6/8 minutes and cut a little, so it will be easier to eat togheter with spaghetti. Cook spaghetti 2 minutes less in the water and finish to cook them in the pan with the vegetables. If you need, add some spoons of their water. Watch the video.
